Chapter 4. Rigging the Bones

A rig is constructed from bones and other objects and parameters. Your character has a skeleton now, but there's still no really easy way for an animator to move it around. In this chapter, we'll add the controls that make animation a breeze.

For example, you'll create a shape that controls foot motions, including a foot roll for a walking motion. You'll also create custom parameters to make the fingers curl, and a number of other objects and parameters to control the character in every way necessary.
