Adding Detail to the Model

Up to this point, you've mainly been adjusting vertices in the back half of the fuselage to shape the model in the tail portion. However, as you were working, you may have noticed the lack of vertices in the cockpit area in the top middle of the fuselage and considered the difficulty of modeling the change of direction where the windshield curves to the nose (Figure 7.23).
