Applying Inverse Kinematics and Animation Solvers

In inverse kinematics, the child object controls the chain of hierarchically linked objects. The best real-world example of this is probably the relationship between the hand, the forearm, and the upper arm. When you move your hand—the last in the family ancestry of the three “linked” objects—your forearm and upper arm both move accordingly in relation to one another.
