Switching Hierarchical Parents

As mentioned earlier, a hierarchically linked object can have one, and only one, parent throughout an animation. If a child object is linked to a parent object, and you link the child to another object, the new object becomes the parent, and any relationship of the child with the previous parent object is discarded, resulting in a completely different animation.
