Lesson 8. Working in the Timeline > Duplicating and Moving Objects in the Timel...

Duplicating and Moving Objects in the Timeline

It's time to add another watch still to the project. Rather than start from scratch, let's just duplicate one of the existing watch objects and replace the media with the new watch. Your goal in this exercise is to add the GMT watch to the project and then modify the behaviors and filters as needed.

1.
Click the Stills disclosure triangle to view the contents of the layer in the Timeline, if they're not already visible.

2.
Ctrl-click the detonator_stealth_trans clip in the Timeline and choose Duplicate from the contextual menu.

A new track appears above the detonator_stealth_trans track with a clip called detonator_stealth_trans copy. Let's change the name of the new track to GMT.

3.
In the Layer list on the Timeline tab, double-click the track name detonator_stealth_trans copy and change it to GMT.

The name of the clip in the GMT region changes to GMT. Now let's move the GMT clip in the Timeline to the GMT marker.
