Sharing Projects with Final Cut Pro

If you use Final Cut Pro, you can share your Motion projects with that application in several ways. The easiest method is to drag the Motion project directly into the Final Cut Pro Timeline. Final Cut Pro will read the Motion project as a clip. The Motion project will need to be rendered because it will be imported in the Animation codec (uncompressed).

You can also import a Final Cut Pro project directly into Motion. The Air Show promo project began as a Final Cut Pro project. After I imported it into Motion, I added the black frame and the Lens Flare filter at the end. Everything else, including the keyframed opacity, originated in Final Cut Pro.
