Chapter 13. Working with Text > Using Parameter Behaviors with Text

Using Parameter Behaviors with Text

You can apply Parameter behaviors to the parameters of text objects the same way you apply them to other objects in Motion. You can apply them to any parameter in the Inspector that has an animation menu—this means parameters of object properties in the Properties tab, like Position, Scale and Rotation; parameters of other behaviors applied to the object in the Behaviors tab (including other parameter behaviors!); parameters of applied filters in the Filters tab; and of any parameters in the Text tab, whether they are Format, Style, or Layout parameters. As long as the parameter has an Animation menu (Figure 13.62), it can be animated with a Parameter behavior (or with keyframes, which are discussed in the next section).

Figure 13.62. Any parameter that has an animation menu can by animated with parameter behaviors or keyframes.
