Customizing Particle Systems in the Inspector

Although the Dashboard gives you quick and easy access to a few key particle system parameters, the Inspector is where you can really dig in and sculpt the animation in detail.

You need to consider two different sets of parameters when you’re working with particle systems: those that modify the emitter, and those that modify the particle cell. These parameters are available on the Object tab of the Inspector—the tab furthest to the right that takes on the name of the element that is currently selected.
