Chapter 6. Working with Behaviors > Using Basic Motion Behaviors

Using Basic Motion Behaviors

The group of Basic Motion behaviors includes six behaviors: five of them animate a single parameter, and one modifies how an object travels along a motion path.

Fade In/Fade Out animates the opacity parameter of an object from 0 percent up to 100 percent at the beginning, and from 100 percent down to 0 percent at the end. You can modify the duration of the fade in and the fade out by dragging on the handles in the Dashboard, which are set to 20 frames by default (Figure 6.13).
