Changing the Timeline’s Appearance

The Timeline is very flexible. It allows you to choose which objects to view, to zoom in and out, and to adjust the height of tracks and how they are displayed. By making these adjustments, you can streamline the Timeline and focus your attention on specific areas.

View options

At the lower left of the Timeline are a series of buttons that determine which types of objects are displayed or hidden (Figure 5.6). To show or hide the object, click the appropriate button to toggle its state between Show and Hide. Hiding filters, behaviors, masks, and keyframes that you aren’t working with condenses the Track area so that you can see more tracks without scrolling.
