Transforming Multiple Objects

Because every object has the same set of transformation parameters, such as Position, Rotation, Scale, and Shear (except shapes and masks, discussed in Chapter 12), it’s easy to apply the same changes to multiple objects simultaneously. First, select all the objects you want to affect, then adjust the appropriate parameter values either in the Canvas or in the Properties tab. Transformations are made around the anchor point of each object as if you transformed them individually.

To transform multiple objects:

1.
Select the objects (see “Selecting Objects” earlier in this chapter).

2.
Perform the transformation on the desired parameter in either the Canvas or the Properties tab (Figure 4.28).
