On-the-Fly Keyframing

Motion’s capacity to playback your composition in real-time, even with multiple objects, filters, masks, behaviors, particles, and keyframes, creates a unique opportunity to set keyframes while your project is playing. Anyone who has used the keyframe automation feature of the Audio Mixer in Final Cut Pro knows right away the power of making changes to parameters on the fly. You can animate any keyframeable parameter in real-time as you watch, which allows you to make sure the animation is happening when you want. For example, you can create a shaky motion effect by dragging an object around the Canvas as your project plays, and Motion sets keyframes as you draw in real-time.
