Lesson 5. Particles and Parameter Behavi... > Modifying the Butterflies' Movements

Modifying the Butterflies' Movements

The butterflies are exploding out from the center of the image, which is a good thing. However, unlike other types of particles, butterflies are self-propelling. That is, in addition to being propelled by the explosion, these butterflies can move themselves, which is presumably what they're trying to do by flapping their wings.

In this exercise we'll stop the movement generated by the emitter and give a random motion to each butterfly, creating the sense that every butterfly is powered by its own energy and volition.
