Chapter 9. Editing Shapes

Shapes are primarily used as the source objects for 3D geometry, including flying logos for television, low-polygon models for 3D games, architectural and mechanical models, and morph targets for morph animation. They are also used as motion paths for animation and distribution paths for placing objects in a scene (Figure 9.1).
