Chapter 3. Expressions > Delta Expressions

Delta Expressions

Here at the end of this chapter about C.O.F.F.E.E. expressions, I would like to introduce you to a delta expression. Expressions and plug-ins that are called delta refer to an object's past data. This can be the position, size, or color. We have the same freedom so we can save values that can be picked up by an expression at a later point in time. But what's the use of this? Imagine a car with a long antenna. The car accelerates, brakes, drives around a curve, etc. While this is happening, the antenna would not just follow the car, but would begin to vibrate and oscillate.
