Chapter 14. More Animation > Setting the render size

Setting the render size

When LiveMotion exports an animation, it converts images and soft-edged objects into a stream of bitmap images, and they are rendered at screen resolution. Any Transform properties are computed after the object's layer properties are rendered. If you display an object at actual size and then enlarge it, its resolution will be lowered and it will become pixelated.

Auto Bezier or Linear

By default, the Auto Bezier option, which smooths curves, is turned on for all position keyframes. To turn it on for any existing keyframes, Shift-select the keyframes, then choose Timeline menu > Auto Bezier.

To convert an Auto Bezier path into a straight (Linear) path, select the object that has a motion path, expand the object's Transform list to view its Position property keyframes, Shift-select the keyframes, then choose Timeline menu > Linear. The segments between motion path squares will be straight; the keyframe locations won't change.
