Chapter 14. More Animation > Editing objects

Editing objects

Let's say you've got an imported object in LiveMotion that you want to revise, but it's already been converted into objects or a sequence. Using the Edit Original command, you can edit the shape in its original application (Photoshop or Illustrator) and then replace it in LiveMotion either for one point in time or for the entire animation.

Lost your link?

If the Edit Original command is dimmed, it may be because the link between LiveMotion and the external program is broken. Open the Adobe LiveMotion > Helpers > Graphics folder (for Photoshop) or the Vector Editors folder (for Illustrator), then double-click the program alias or shortcut. If the program launches, the link is intact. If it doesn't, follow the operating System info to relink an alias or shortcut.
