Removing attributes

The Clear Layer Attributes command restores the default Layer, Adjust, Distort, 3D, Texture, and Gradient palette settings to a layer. This command can be undone.

To restore a layer to its plain, unadorned state:

1.
Select an object and select the layer from which you want to remove attributes (Figs. 12)

Choose Layer menu > Clear Layer Attributes (Fig 3.). The layer will be filled automatically with the current Foreground color. The Object Layer Opacity will be restored to 100%; the Object Opacity won't change. The Layer and Adjust palette settings will default to 0; the Distort and 3D palettes will be reset to None; and the Gradient palette will be reset to No Gradient.
