Working with properties

When you export files from LiveMotion, there are certain issues you should consider regarding properties that seem to produce similar results (e.g., Shape Resize vs. Scale, Object Opacity vs. Object Layer Opacity, and other property "pairs"). Object attributes and layer properties affect specific rollover states or specific layers. Transform properties, on the other hand, affect the entire object.

Shape Resize (an Object Attributes property) will resize an object, but it will produce a larger export size than Scale (a Transform property) because Scale is applied to the whole object. Object Layer Opacity (a Layer property) will produce more than one alpha channel when applied to an object, whereas Object Opacity will produce only one alpha channel for the whole object. (But obviously, if you only want to reduce the opacity of one layer in a multi-layered object, you need to use Object Layer Opacity.) Using a Transform property instead of an object attribute or layer property will yield a smaller export file size.
