Printing

You might want to print a LiveMotion file if, for example, you'd like to show it to a client or to other members of your design team. To get an animation on paper as a storyboard, you can print your composition as it looks at one static point in time or make multiple prints for a series of static points in time. It's impossible to print a continuous animation because an animation is really a string of a gazillion individual frames.

To print a composition:

1.
If you're working with an animated file, open your timeline window by choosing Timeline menu > Show Timeline Window. Use the selection arrow to scroll to the part of your animation you would like to print. What you see in your document window is what will print.

2.
Choose File menu > Page Setup/Print Setup, then choose printing preferences for your printer. You may, for example, wish to print your composition in landscape mode if it is wider than it is long.

3.
Choose File menu > Print to print the current state of the composition.
