Replacing

The Replace command places vector or bitmap graphics onto the currently selected layer of the currently selected object. The replacement image is sized automatically to fit within the current selection border of the selected layer and the object's contour is changed to fit within the shape of the newly placed imagery. Replace converts all objects, whether vector or bitmap, into image objects.

The main reason to use the Replace command instead of another import method is that when it's used to fill an existing LiveMotion object with new imagery, the object's original styling is preserved. This speeds up updating when you need to edit image objects. Say, for example, you import a Photoshop image into LiveMotion and then apply a style and a texture to it. If you edit the image in Photoshop and then Replace it in LiveMotion, the original style and texture will apply to the new image.
