This book is merely an in-between frame keyed by the work of animation giants Frank Thomas, Ollie Johnston, Chuck Jones, Preston Blair, John Lasseter, and other masters who have defined the art of animation and then adapted it to computers. To Mr. Lasseter, and Siggraph publications, I owe particular thanks for permission to reproduce his excellent primer on animation style in Chapter 3. Thanks are also due to Thomas and Johnston and Hyperion Press for the foundation they built for Lasseter's article with their fine book on Disney animation.
