After you create your site file, you are taken into Muse where you can choose from three views (Figure 2.3):
• Plan
• Design
• Preview
Figure 2.3 The Muse Plan view.
At any time, you can switch between any of the views by clicking the Plan, Design, or Preview links in the upper-left corner of the interface.
In Plan view, you can see thumbnails of the pages in your site, and along the bottom, the master pages that you can use to control the consistent elements in your design, like header and footer content. Plan view is where you can easily plan your pages—how many you will need, how they will be ordered, and how they connect to each other. This is called a site map.
Your Muse site starts with one default master page that is applied to every page you create. This master page is where you can add content you want to appear on every page, like the page header and footer, logos, navigation, links, and more.
